A Poem by Yvette
"

Bus writings April 5 2010 I remember writing a song like this when I was younger. I tried to recreate it, only better...

"

Give me a second to tell a lie
Give me a minute to clear my eye
Give me an hour to watch the sky
Give me a day to say goodbye
Give me a week to learn to fly
Give me a month to pass you by
Give me a year some time to lie, and I'll never cry

Give me a second to lose my mind

Give me a minute to look and find
Give me an hour just to unwind
Give me a day to become that kind
Give me a week to run from "your mine"
Give me a month to get in line
Give me a year to get lost in time

Give me a second to find something better to do
Give me a minute to continue to pursue
Give me an hour to finish to subdue
Give me a day to turn black and blue
Give me a week to figure out what you do
Give me a month to love you too
Then give me a year to forget about you
