The sound of loneliness

The sound of loneliness

A Poem by Silent Flame

The sound of loneliness
a quiet, white, empty room
four walls of feelings
with just one person with many emotions
nothing fake
but the denial of depression
the strength to say
"I'm OK"
is now the weakness that says
nothing
being alone in this room, is just an opportunity
to express and be yourself
although, no matter how white and quiet this room is
there's a loud shadow over you
nothing but the screams of your thoughts
the true form of your
feelings
now the true sound of loneliness is just
around you
once a peaceful environment
now a loud, dark place
the loneliness
you
