Tell me the truth

or do you not know

you say it's just acting

but they didn't tell you to get so close

or say the things

that you said

did you mean them

or was it for the camera

and when i get nervous

you say that i'm great

you pulled my hair

in a teasing way

you say that i'm cute

grab my stomach

and pull me towards you

and you tell me that i'm cute

all i can do

is mumble so are you

i know it's a movie

and we both want to be famous

but do you feel

the same way too

that's all i want to know from you

Sad for her that what she feels is real, and she doesn't know if he feels the same. Worse if he really is just a good actor. I love this poem.
