Dark Light

randomness, because i was listening to the song dark light by H.I.M, and i was inspired by the title xD

Dark light
shine bright
Illuminate
my face at night.

So cold
stories told
Lies growing
so old.

Silent tears
nothing here
Give in to
all my fears.

Scarred arms
unwelcome harm
No need to
be alarmed.

Cover up
all the cuts
No one sees
just my luck.

Dark light
shine bright
Help me come
clean tonight.

I like the simplicity and brevity of this poem. The irony of a dark light that shines so bright is rather fantastically ironic. The poem is easy to read and reminded me of the famous rhyme 'star light star bright, wish i may wish i might'. There are though a few spelling mistakes: 1st stanza illuminate*, 3rd stanza give in to*. All in all nice poem. Thanks for sharing!

The dark seems to feel good so no one can see the scars and the the bleeding darkness covering you like a blanket. This was good
