im not alright,
im broken inside.
ive never felt so much pain,
im stuck to the ground,
ill never fly.

i feel so alone,
so worthless.
i want to stop the bleeding,
but the first step is the hardest.
will you take it with me?

im a shattered heart, that anyone can save.
i dont want to see these scars anymore.
i want to know that the best moments of my life are coming.
so i write it on my arms,
the love i long to feel.

i want it to be alright.
i want to know that im cared about, to feel safe.
i believe that love is the movement, that rescue is possible.

i know the stars are there, but we miss them in the dirt, and in the clouds.
we miss them in the storms.
i drop the blade,
but i hold onto hope.
i will find my purpose,
i will be loved.

TWLOHA's message is predominantly based on hope, and I really felt the feeling of hope and strength in your poem. I liked how the emotions that you described changed and evolved as the poem progressed, and I liked how your first stanza matched your last stanza. This was a really powerful and moving write. Amazingly heartfelt, candid and poetic. I was particularly enamoured with the lines " know the stars are there, but we miss them in the dirt, and in the clouds.

wow outstanding you put yourself out there, been through so much things
i like the part when you dropped the blade to stop the slow suicide writting the things that ever made you depressed. some how you found a way to look the other direction to look for a better life. Bravo

beautiful, and very inspirational! i heard of the band but i didn't know that they had a campaign. i do cut myself and this made me really think. that's really good if you can make your reader think about themselves.
