pick up the pieces that were scattered,
put together the parts of my soul.

wipe away these tears of hate,
take away the pain in my eyes,
i want to fly away with you,
up into the clear blue skies.

sit with me as the rain pours down,
intertwine my hand in yours,
listen to our breathing is sync,
this moment, shared with u of course

your the one that can stop these tears,
your the one that makes me smile,
you don't even have to try,
but baby just please stay a while.

your crystal clear eyes are all i need,
putting me together bit by bit,
so all i ask is u fix my heart,
then ill let you have it.

I liked all your references to the rain and the blue skies, and thought that your whole concept of the broken heart was really intriguing and effective.
