The Game of Life

The Game of Life

A Poem by xTORI JOx

The pain she feels so deep inside

Is pain caused from a broken heart

She feels as if her spirit died

Like she's been killed by a poisonous dart

All her life, she's had to hide

Being alone, day and night

If it's possible, and by she can slide

Maybe then, she can end the fight

This life she lives is known as hell

She's tired of how everyone pretends

She wishes that God would take off the spell

Then maybe she could make some friends

The heart this girl had one time

Will never ever be the same

This girl has left, very little time

Her life will end, just like the game

Author's Note

xTORI JOx
I wrote this on November 24, 2008. The scary thing is, while I was writing this, I was thinking about committing suicide. The very same night, my friend Keith committed suicide. I didn't realize it until just now. So, this poem has more meaning now, than it did then. Lucky, I don't feel this way anymore, as much...
