Never Plan in Neverland

Never Plan in Neverland

A Poem by Tori
"

A little thing about two types of love: planned and hoped for, and unexpected and recieved.

"

I remember a long time ago

I would sit there at my desk and planplanplan

How we’d start talking,

How we’d fall in love,

How we’d grow up,

And how we would live: together forever.

According to my young, naïve mind

It would all be so methodical

So perfect.

I would sip my coffee and planplanplan

Like a little businesswoman

Exactly the way everything would go.

To me, it was the only way everything could go.

But then he showed up

And took my plans

And threw them out the window.

I took off my pencil skirt and put on a crazy dress

And then we ran off together

Into the wild, crazy mess of the unknown.

No more rules

No more methods

And no more plans.

He turned my world upside down

And upside down

Is just how I needed to see things.

Heh, I like it. It's nice to just take it as it comes, planning makes for boring.
