Change

Whether it's for the better or the worse.

 You changed me.

Whether for the worse or for the better, I may never know.

But since the first day

(So long ago)

That I laid eyes on you

I knew that I would never be the same.

Because of you

I learned a lot

(Like how to love

And how to be strong

And how to bounce back when your heart is broken).

But I also lost a lot

(Like innocence

Common sense

And a little bit of sanity).

Either way, though

I thank you.

You were my best friend

My one and only

And then you became my worst enemy

And my biggest mistake.

But now you're just another fish in the sea.

You're just the fish that changed me.

Written in a hurry, about someone who touched my life whether they know it or not. I don't like this poem. Review? :)
