Let Me Let Go

Let Me Let Go

A Poem by xSummer'sPatient
"

A short two- stanza poem about desperately wanting to stop caring about someone

"
Let us both be wrong today!
Destroy this bond that grows one way!
Take all the turmoil, the anguish and immortalized dismay...
Take all of what he gives to me and throw it all away!

To whomever hears me, this is what I pray:
No longer can I last in dwelling darkness everyday!
Desire and depression, don't let them be one in the same!
Let me throw away my conscience, let us both be wrong today!

Well, the number one thing I'm concerned with is this: Honestly, can you feel any emotion coming from the poem at all? Expressing emotion through poetry is one of the main things I struggle with, so honesty and suggestions are appreciated.

emotion sometimes makes the poem besides the imagery. no body knowns who you are. I like your poem. we just have two different kinds of poetry. writing styles. It look that you maybe new at this by he amount of poems that you have written. fresh and being new is good. Experiment put yourself out there when you feel comportable with certain subjects. People do want to hear what you have to say. good luck

Yes, I feel the obvious angry, but I also feel the narrator giving up and throwing it all away without thinking about consequences.
