Just a Nobody

I watch all of you

From a tremendous distance.

Your smiling faces

Laughter

Happiness.

I can only stand and watch

with a cracking heart

and tearless sapphire eyes.

I could never be one of you.

I'm not supposed to be.

That must be the reason

why I stand here this moment

and every other day.

It must be Envy.

Is this what it feels like?

Wishing you could completely cut

into someone else's picture?

Even though you never belonged?

But it doesn't matter anyway.

Nothing will change

just because I order it to do so.

So I turn

and walk away

from your happiness

feeling the cracks

dig deeper.

But 

I'm just a nobody.

Made of only body and soul.

It's only in my head.

My mind telling me

that the pain

lies in my heart

that I never held

and never will.

Because I'm not supposed to exist.

Author's Note

Because I can write horrible poetry when I need to.
I don't care how bad this is, I needed to do this for myself.
Btw, if you noticed, the topic relates to Roxas a lot, so I made it from his point of view, with the whole "nobody" and "no heart" thing, and when it says "sapphire eyes."

A superb poem, describing how it feels to walk through the world and looking around, knowing...nobody gets it...so the feet continue to walk. Your words give us the imagery and the feeling that they were meant to... That's is good poetry.

Nobodies are very easy to relate to, aren't they? Sometimes I'm surprised at how people fail to see the very obvious, basic human nature in those games, but you've expressed in a way that is easy to understand.
This feeling, I think, has been real to everybody at some point or another.

Okay. First off, "horrible?" Really? ...You don't think highly of your work do you? This is freaking AMAZING! And I could tell it was Roxas as soon as it said"sapphire eyes." :D And poetry is a good way to express yourself. Which is why I write to much of it. ANYWAY! It really does flow well, and I really, REALLY, could see Roxas thinking this to himself. I just love this poem. And...Agree with CHeezit. The emotions really are strong in this piece, and it's almost like you can feel this yourself. Just..Amazing. Again. So, STOP HATING ON CHUR WORK. Or saying it's bad. It ROX. So, yeah. =)
