Music And Wings

Two of the biggest things in my mind.

Plug in the white earbuds

Select the song that matches your soul

Let the music flow in your mind, your heart

And when you become lost in the sound

Your wings spread, even if you can't fly with them

You know when they're there,

And you fill up to the brim with emotion

Tears come to your eyes, and wash away common sense

For all that remains

Is what your soul listens to.

I have added this poem to my favorites because I know this feeling exactly and I love the fact that you've captured it in words! Music is definitely something that inspires me. I can be in whatever mood and depending on the song it'll change my whole outlook. This poem reminded me of that feeling so kudos! I love it!

And about not thinking it's one of your best... i have no comment because I haven't read anything to compare it to yet... but I can say that I think it's form it great. It leads you up to the ending of the idea of the soul flying away and I think it just flows well. The Form and Content work well I guess is what i was trying to say.
