Face In The CrowdA Poem by Brandon
The blade eats my flesh Blood drips down my arm My body starts to tremble Setting off a silent alarm
Why am I doing this Could it get better As I thought about it And wrote my final letter
So what do I have To make me celebrate life I have no family to speak of And never had a loving wife
I've never had the things That makes a person proud Rarely go to parties And never put life into a crowd
So now here I sit My last breath upon me As I start to die I realize now, that I am free
