Lonely Heart

Lonely Heart

A Poem by Brandon

So she sits

With a lonely heart

And wonders how

It all fell apart

Hour after hour

Day after day

She can’t figure out

What is left to say

All she wonders

Is where she went wrong

And starts to cry

As she hears their song

Sitting alone

Desperate for love

Hoping one day

She’ll be blessed from above

Simple, but it explains so much. I can so relate at the moment.

Nice simplistic Rhyming... love the presence of melancholy in the beginning and how the poem ends with a feeling of faint optimism. =)

Ahhh, perfect Brandon! Nice title, too. Good choice. Painful, yet with hope. :)
