Old poem that I scrapped and completely re-wrote.

 

What is this feeling?

 

That we’ve all known or had

 

Something so good

 

Can’t be that bad

 

 

Try it before you knock it

 

I’ve always said

 

You just might find

 

It’s floating through your head

 

 

You’ll know it when you feel it

 

That is for sure

 

It’s almost like an obsession

 

That in every way is pure

 

 

So what is this feeling

 

That I am speaking of?

 

There is only one answer

 

And that is love
