The Riddle

 

So here I sit

Thumbs a twiddle

Thinking about

This stupid riddle

 

I’ve thought so long

Countless hours a day

It might be a lost cause

But I’ll figure it out someway

 

I’ve just about given up

Where I don’t even care

I’ll never figure this out

If you know, please share

 

Well I am done trying

This much is true

You’ll be shocked when you realize

i really had to think about this one. it had a good ending and flow. i thought you were talking about writting the poem but really you were talking about someone. great write...i really did like this...it is hard to figure out pple....trust me i know...im one of those pple hard to figure out. so anywayze...take care

Well done. The last line was high beems to sleepy eyes. I thought the riddle was you but the riddle was me because I have a riddle of my own. Unfortunatley sometimes it's the stuff inside my walls that keeps me warm.

very thought invoking! We often don't see ourselves as who we are, very rarely actually! Alot of thought went into this, and alot somes from reading it. The rhyming scheme and flow are great! I can see why featured this poem it's incredible!

Wow. This was...hm how do I describe it..Excellent. Yeah thats it. You spill your heart out with only a few words but still you speak the truth. I'd hate to say it but I fell for it too it didn't come to my mind that the riddle was a person. That was a very good twist.
