Destination Zero

Destination Zero

A Poem by Brandon

Get in my car to leave

With nowhere to go

Drive down the street

Where do I go now?

Windows down, as well as the sun

Wind in my hair, music blaring

Driving down the freeway

Where am I going?

Been driving over 30 minutes

Driving aimlessly around town

An hour later I got back home

After reaching destination zero

I love this; because I do it so often. Usually later at night, when I find myself alone and going crazy. I get in my car, and I drive around...It seems pointless but there's a reason why we do it.

It's very to the point, precise and honest.
I love the formatting, the length of the lines in correlation to the centering give an amazing presentation whch almost sets the tone for the piece before you even read it.

Great job.

I like the idea of not knowing where you're going.

I would expand the poem a bit......describe some of the places along the way. Just my thought.
