Pain

 

I feel so lost without you

You left me just the other day

And now the hurt takes its place

 

Why must you hurt me like you did

I just can’t live with all of this

And all I ask is take the pain

 

We were so long together

Just me and you forever

Then the fighting took its toll

And the eyes began to roll

 

The love we once had is now gone

What looks to be forever

Now it’s the pain that I must sever

Wow... what a very powerful write. I can relate to this poem very much. The theme is nothing new but the sincerity and the organization of how you played your music was commendably done. Keep it up.
