Hear the whispers

Feel the pain

A love that can’t be compared

That is gone with the rain

A couple once happy

A couple so great

How did he let her

Walk out of the gate

To leave him forever

And never speak again

Forever they will wonder

If they could have made it last

Now they’ll never know

It is all in their past
