Judge Me

Judge Me

A Poem by Brandon

You do your thing
I do mine
Lives on different paths
Everything just fine
Words are spoken
Feelings are known
Didnt want it to be this way
But the first punch has been thrown
Judge me on my life
Judged for what Ive done
The life that I lead doesnt suit you
Feel free to run
Because in the end
Ill do just fine
Do what I set out too
All in due time
Youll be a memory
A glimpse in my sight
A past you can remember
And how you judged me that night

Nicely written, short and sweet. I know it's odd coming from a writer, but sometimes words get in the way and dull the brilliance of a piece. You know what you want to say, and you say it. No rubbish, no filler. I like it very much. Well done.
