The tempest and the dawn...

The tempest and the dawn...

A Poem by Darkblushedink
"

Be brave, happiness will come back!

"
One day i stood near the unravelling sea,
and a raging tempest, covered it's horizon,
a storm blew, and waves crashed,
onto the sea shore,
but unafraid was I ,

dawn filtering through the storm,
i saw ray of light,
i saw that the sun rose,
regardless the tempest of the sea,
and high and proud it gleamed,
the tempest calmed and cleared the sky,
and birds flew into the sun nearby,

The storms prevail,
and wildfires destroy,
all the once found earthly joy,
but then again from the injurious times,
a beauty clears the bloody sky,

while war goes on,
in little towns, beautiful children go to trees,
and collect maples for the knights,
in ugly times, beauty doesn't die,
it just remains suppressed for sometime,
it is there and always stays,
the purest hearts find it's hiding place,
in the end it reaches for freedom,
and when the war dies,
it reveals it's face!

THANKYOU SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! ^_^
This had a beautifully classic quality about it if you know what you mean. You have an older style and tone with sort of new school arrangements. It works well and you give us a strong story and a good idea of the place you are writing about. My favorite lines were "while war goes on,/in little towns, beautiful children go to trees,/and collect maples for the knights," There is something truly touching about that for me. It really tugged at my heart. It is such a kind and tender gesture in a time of war, especially from the young and innocent. I enjoyed this quite a bit.

You're welcome
Agree with the others - a lovely poem. There is something significant here in what you are putting across, definitely affects people. The last section, too, was wonderful. Some great stand out lines and vivid imagery. Good job!
