shadows

shadows

A Poem by xNote_to_selfx

sun downs's un-blinking stare asends

upon shadows of which it bends

among crooked, bent trees they dance

winding through trunks who hold their stance

here in the dark they move freely

without any worry that they may see

Sun rise's wavering glare asends

upon shadows which darkness mends

among dark spots and shade they hide

slinking through woods, on leaves they ride

in the sun they must not be seen

for fear of their one, only true fein

I really enjoyed your poem, the only suggestion i would have is maybe changing "ascends" in the first line to "descends". Great piece though, looking forward to more of your writing!
