Love & Chivalry

Love & Chivalry

A Poem by LostCauze[:P]

Sometimes I want to believe that love exists
The thought of it persists and contradicts
It constricts and manifests with the movement of lips
As the thought of lust spawns with each shake of your hips.

Chivalry is a dead art form that no longer strives
It died within the lies of a lovers pride
And whats left of real love is a pious sigh
So it's sad to say that love has died.

Love died along with the art form of chivalry
and within history it died civilly
Now men no longer respect women seriously
and love died along with it naturally.

Though I question loves existence I know its not fake
That love is a perception principled by fate
and even though I haven't had hope as of late
One day I'll fall in love, So all I can do is wait.

I agree with this as well. Nicely written. I like it.
