Take a mind trip my friend

Relax and lay back,

Because you never know when, you’ll return again.

 

Sun shining over the horizon your hand holding a pen,

Mind set on the sun and clouds.

Take a mind trip my friend.

 

Go back to the peaceful days, way back when

And relish the memories of peace,

Because you never know when, you’ll return again.

 

A life story is a letter, that you’re not willing to send,

So rip it out of the envelope and reread your words,

Take a mind trip my friend.

 

Your life is a trip, a journey in the end.

So relax and lay back

This is my favorite line out of the whole poem. "A life story is a letter, that you're not willing to send," I enjoy the concept the entire poem. It has a very peaceful tone and an easy flow.
