The Bird Who Flew

The Bird Who Flew

A Poem by LostCauze[:P]

There once was a bird who loved to fly

Across the skies, way up high.

When asked about his fixation by the bass in the sea

His response was, I fly because I wish to be free.

So he flew miles and miles across the sky,

And reached higher and higher far reached by eyes,

But when asked about his fixation by god, in glee

He replied, I fly because I wish to be free.

He flew and he flew in till he dropped from the sky

From way up high, he finally died.

He flew for many days, but he died in glee

For in death, he got his wish, he’s finally free.

It's simple yet elegant and could be deciphered in many different ways. This is really good, the flow, the rhyme scheme, everything. Finally, a new poem!! lol.
