Poetic Art

Poetic Art

A Poem by LostCauze[:P]

My paper is the canvas in which I draw my art

Though Conceived from words, images are born

Rhythms of each stroke brings color to paper

Each detailed line marked deep within the surface

And by which the sky made from letters was formed

The trees I drew, Construed from rhyme

The birds that flew, Stood still in time

And yet I fret, I left a speck

Of ink on canvas, which I resign

I drew the ocean, beneath the sky

Using Sounds and Memories that I adore

But when I decide to twist and turn my words

The Ocean I drew, became the sky

And the sky I drew became the floor

The Sand I drew, Construed from rhyme

The Water that spewed, Stood Still in time

And yet I fret, I left a speck

Of ink on canvas, which I resign

My canvas became filled with words and pictures

A most brilliant speechless art

For my pen ripped open the sky I drew

And leaked an ocean of ink and I think

These were my intentions from the start

The pictures I drew, Construed from rhyme

The ink that glued, stood still in time

And yet I fret, I left a speck

Of ink on canvas, Which I resigned

This poem is so artistic. When reading it, I felt as if I was being washed away by the waterfalls of ink coming out of the sky's wound. Very colourful, exellent and fun flow. Well done!

Wow, this poem is brilliant. I absolutely love the metaphors and the way it all flows together so well. I added it to my library, by the way.

Oh my. I have to say that I absolutely loved this poem. I haven't really been on here in a while, and to read this right when I come back on is just simply amazing. Poetry and Art really do have high places in my heart and this poem is such a beautiful combination of the two. I mean, the pictures that were formed in my head were just AWESOME! And the flow of this poem was fantastic. (Reading it out loud was SUPER FUN :D ) I know it seems that I'm going a bit overboard, but it's just how this poem made me feel. LOVE IT. =)

AWESOME, FANTASMIC... CRUSHED UNDER THE WORDS OF WISDOM THAT COMES FROM THE WRITER HIMSELF... (I AM A BIT WEIRD) MAKES ME THINK... I LIKE THINKING... AND DAYDREAMING... WORDS ARE MAGIC AND U HAVE THE POWER(ALSO MAY SOUND WEIRD, BUT AGAIN I AM NOT ALL HERE) BUT I LIKED IT.

Amazing. The images were outstanding. Art and poetry are synonomous in my book. Great read.

I really really liked this. The images were indeed created by words. It was peaceful in a weird way.
