The Blind & The Beautiful

The Blind & The Beautiful

A Poem by LostCauze[:P]

Her moon lit face
Basking in the neverending light
Eyes that shine like stars
A smile that lit up nights
Her soft flawless skin,
A sharp mind and wit
A sleep walking sleeping beauty
Yearning for that faithfull kiss

His mind was deep and suddle
Time with no hands on the clock
Sand that never met the bottom of the hour glass
Therefore his love for her never stopped
He fell for her looks but inside he died
Because he yearned for that touch
So he admires her looks with deep thought
For she was his Juliet

He approached her with confidence
His mind set aside
She shrugged off for he lacked perfection
She walked out of his life
He slowly died inside for she was his first love
For the first time since forever he sat down and cried
She may be beautiful he thought
But; she falls to the ugliness inside

im wondering if some of these are of the same person?? if your writing this of free will then you have an amazing talent fro figurative language and expressing emotion through your work.

Wow. I hear all the time that beauty is on the inside. I believe that guys are only interested on outside beauty, even though I hear different. This gives me a lot to evaluate in my own life and a lot to think about. I love poems that tell stories and even though this one is sad it has a deep meaning and easy flow. Very nice.
