Andy's Last Letter

Andy's Last Letter

A Poem by Faith

Dear Andy,

My fingers trembling as i hit these blurry keys, typing away your last remains. I cherish these small momentoms, useless things that you would have thrown away, i treasure. At times i wish your death, to hold your ashes, to protect whats left of you. Sweet Andy, you can trust me. I see you out my window, looking at me, you strain my eyes. Your name stays stained on my glass mirror, i avoid washing you away. I can't chop lettuce without laughing, our conversation running through my mind. I can't walk the track field without tracing our footsteps. A tear runs down my cheek when our class enters the planetarium, i stare at the red exit sign, remembering. I write this for you, but i know you will never see it. When i want you with me, i play songs you showed me, i watch movies we watched together, i say jokes you told me, and fall asleep with my phone in my hand. But it will never be the same, you aren't humming along to the lullaby, your not asking me questions during the commercials, you aren't there to say i have the sweetest yet most abnoxious laugh there is, and there is no one to fight over who will hang up first. Your gone, and you will never return. Now i will move on, and leave you in this letter. I will share this with the world, so my love for you will never be forgotten from anyone, but me.

PS: One Love.

                     Love Always,

                                    Lala

Wow, I feel like I have just observed a quick "trailer" of a movie that stars Lala and Andy. Quick snipets that show me enough for me to know I would like to see more. I write fiction and at times it seems as real as this, so I'm not sure if this is reality or fiction. Regardless, it feels very real. If it is real, I grieve her loss regardless of how she lost him. Great pictorial of emotion.

Wow. This is so sad, but beautiful. It reminds me to stop and cheerish the ones I lvoe while I can, because tomorrow, they may be gone...

It made me cry...it is so sad but beautiful. This really does show that love never dies it continues to live on no matter how much time passes. This is deep and straight from the heart. It's truly heart gripping...

This is very sad and very, very good.

' my love for you will never be forgotten from anyone, but me.' so everyone else will remember him just not her. Please explain if i've gotten the wrong end of the stick.

That is the only thing i spotted with this piece, this is very good.

Well done

Thank you for requesting me to read this. It's beautiful, and very sad. Losing someone is one of the greatest pains there is in the world. Us writer reflect our sadness, and madness through writing. You did a wonderful job in portraying your true emotions in a beautiful letter to lost loveone. You're right though, a love so great should never be forgotten.
Good Job.
