a dark angelA Poem by Faiththere she stand looking out at her new life, thinking to herself “what is my purpose?” “why shall I be put on this heavenly earth, if I play no part in thee?” she knows where she truly belongs, she yells out to the sky, “I do not deserve your generosity, your kindness!” the aged penumbra now behind her ivory body she so full of youth and astonishment the dark nightfall can not take over her majestic beauty the moon gazing down on her brightly lighten porch the devious monstrosity lurking besides her the raging torch fire now put out, the porch now quiet and faint she guids herself to her royal sleeping place her angelic white dress, dragging with her grace she approaches herself in the lustrous mirror she reaches for her red lace, she ties the lace in a faultless bow the red complimenting her long, ebony hair she now lay in the biggest sea of blankets for she did not know he lay beneath her gentle body the creature slowly pulling the loose bow the lace parts from her ebony silk hair the torturous tool now rests around her neck she lay still, paralyzed by his tempting touch he pulls, and she returns to her master
