A Poem by Dark Star

here i am, misery's company

and i know you'll never come for me

you left me here a year ago, never to return

with nothing but the memories that continually burn

i'm crying out my silent pleas

head in my hands, down on my knees

the lonliness i want to scream i hid behind my tongue

'cause in the end it's just another song that i have sung

you're killing yourself slowly and here i am living for you

walking with and angry gait, you left as if on cue

fading into darkness, now you're impossible to find

but it's OK 'cause i'll wait for you on the other side

here i stand on this hollow night, my bare feet on the road

and now i'm never coming back, i'm never coming home

the gentle wind caresses my skin

in this battle no one wins

a ghost of white fabric draped over me

above there are stars for me to see

but that's not what i'm looking at, it's those headlights coming closer

a woman is behind the wheel, it seems that fate has chose her

the impact was quick and the death was quicker

the flame of my life went out in a flicker

About
Hmmm not much to say. I'm pretty much like everyone else. I laugh when it is completely inappropriate, say things I shouldn't and worry about what people think of me. Well maybe not everyone is like t.. more..
