Bittersweet

Bittersweet

A Poem by Aries
"

I need to fill this void with something substantial

"
She doesn't know what's between us
that when you kiss from my lips and my throat
to my gut
My mind goes away
and my eyes slip shut
beneath your hot weight
You steal my thoughts from home
to warmer places
Help to forget these faces
Once held to my own
I need to embrace this addiction
to release what I should have held instead
replaced by toxicity
with burning cheeks and a foggy head
I'll wake up from this high
but not for days
.30 and she's gone
as it all fades to grey
