August's EndA Poem by Aries<>Last night I was carried through a storm on a rainy Saskatchewan night Wheels turning pavement against the darkened west my weary mind giving up the fight I fell into a fragile rest held together by growing exhaustion counting seconds by the ache and longing in my chest as I slipped away..
Calgary lives on within my dreams of neon City lights and construction sites A kaleidoscope's magic across the canvas of my resting eyes dawn touching the passing fields outside... I woke up today in Thunder Bay, the rain subsiding as my dreams gave way to another city landscape and another day © 2011 AriesFeatured Review
