Zenith

Zenith

A Poem by Aries
"

the maelstrom of troubled rest

"
in the space between night and day

a wasted wanton metropolis lay

under momentous shade of the midday id

a towering aberration of anxious grit

with walls as high as the id itself

that, trapping inside the shadowy shell

a nervous wind throughout,

 allows nothing in nor out

I liked the opening line, how it was poetically weaved.
it gave me a sense like of a statement of a theme in an epic
that line was like an invitation to something that I need to listen to.
