LegacyA Poem by AriesWhat do we leave behind when we're dead? How will you die? perhaps by a train, or a stranger with a vengeance or by your own hand or by your brother's wish Is your death in demand, to be rejoiced? When will you go? A natural death is one we don't choose while an unnatural life is an easy one to lose oddities are easy to know Why? if your unnatural life lends to reasons for this if your death should become a fable, a myth a reason enough if they remember you and tell your tale So where will you rest? silken ashes to four winds on cold concrete or six feet beneath does it matter? there is no poetry in death
