Turning to Stone

Turning to Stone

A Poem by C.Elle

Turning to stone

I'll hold my breath to turn to stone
I won't cry out or even moan
No one hears, or even sees
I'm so alone and I hide the key
The bathroom walls so bleak and dark
Encircle me without remarks
I'll turn to stone and blend right in
I'll suffocate and watch them spin
I'll dream it's wrong, and all a lie.
I'll just pretend and not be denied.
I'll take relief, even hope so vain
With no rejection to keep me sane
I'm bleeding now. It's too severe
No scream will save me, no single tear
I'll hold my breath and turn to stone
My solid heart will love unknown.
