My Addiction

Numbness all through out me
Intoxicated I linger

My world turned upside down
Everything is turning around

My life in ruins
My life a wreck

Confused out of my mind
Nothing seems right to me

Passing out on the couch
Getting high off a fix

Drowning in my addiction
Drowning in my sorrow

Thoughts racing through my mind
I’m unclear

In this confusion
I call my world
