Pool Of Lies

Pool Of Lies

A Poem by Catastrophic Dreams

I live in this pool of lies
Deep and endless
Just like all the lies you've told me

I am suffocating from all these lies you've told me
Endless and meaningless
Whats the point of listeining
When I know none of it is true

This pool of lies surrounds me
Never letting me breath
So i die in this pool of lies

I really can't tolerate liars. Not only are they wasting the time of the person they are lying to, they are wasting their own time.
I liked this poem, although I felt that you could have expanded a little bit. It was a little repetitive.
The line that seemed strongest to me was:
"I am suffocating from all these lies you've told me".
Lies really can suffocate. Great work! :D

Interesting..
Liars suck, they really do.
You shouldn't let them get to you though.
Brush them off, leave them behind.
