Words

A Poem by GetTheHellOut

She gave me a nasty look

I smiled and laughed

Just can't be bothered to talk...

Words never did any good to me or anyone...

She just stared at me

observing my odd reaction

Her eyes shining with young passion's fire

Full of question, full of life...

I kept gazing at her

so beautiful, but so empty inside...

It doesn't matter to anyone though...

No one but me...

I could give her all the love she ever hoped for

If she could just open the door to her heart

that now beats so fast still waiting for my next move

as I walk towards her, closer...

I just kissed her

All I had to do

It was just enough...

Words never did any good to anyone...

I wrote this as if a boy was talking about the girl he loved. As I wrote in my bio most of my writings have nothing to do with me, so stop trying to relate the stuff I write with me.

Love it. Been a while since I kissed a girl, gosh almost a decade, but it must be like that when i kissed a boy--the same as for you with your "girl"... but just wanted to ask if your in this for trends sake, since it's so "fetch" to do something like that (and you're so young to even know--i take that back, you know yourself enough, i apologize) but you have a unique voice in poetry, keep up the creativity--keep it alive, it makes you glow! and shine above others!... kudos.
