Insignificant and helpless

Just like the rest

 

A toy in the hands of many

A broken piece of mirror

To flatter the beholder

Turn around and hear the whispers

The screams of pain that you ignored

Before darkness fills your eyes

Before the horror reaches your soul

 

Ironic as it seems

It’s called life

Where the lies you create

Are the ones

who define who you are

towards the ending

You get right back to the start

Wow, girl you have major talent! I absolutely love this. It reads like a song with the repeating refrains. It is delightfully depressing and I am impressed by these lines in particular:
