Fate's Deadly Kiss

Fate's Deadly Kiss

A Poem by GetTheHellOut

Fallen forever there is no way back

I stare into nothing as the ashes of my dreams fly over me

Once again the circle is complete

We are all here waiting for fate's deadly kiss

Rivers are made of tears and blood

all shed by guilt and pain

damned souls walk among us

leading us into another new hellish abyss

Blank looks no emotion here

but nothing can hide the horror of what we have become

of what we seek and the new day that is to come

insignifigant questions that will remain unknown

As I pass beneath the shadows

walking once again among the ashes that once I used to call life

I realise that it was all fake

another illusion more tears in vain...

This is nice too. I think we have all felt this way from time to time. Some of us more than others ;) I like the way that your character reflects on its own state rather than it just being a passive telling of a story. You allow the reader into the mind and emotions of the character which is difficult to do. Great job.

Great work here. Makes me feel warm inside. ;) Such a familiar subject that simply never gets old: pure darkness and the tears it accompanies. Great work.

Ironically Yours, Blade and Blood
