The Music Man

The Music Man

A Poem by Wynter Page
"

loving you has left me in utero...

"

Such a long way from yesterday,

such a long way from tomorrow.

Too drained to be anything other than a memory,

loving you has left me in utero.

Such a swaying angel,

your lips,

your hips,

your howling voice.

I was mesmerized by your poetry.

I am still mesmerized as

you're leaving me

stuck,

trapped,

and penniless.

Don't you know I'll still

be pining for you

even when you send me to hell?

Are you still singing about me like you used to?

Are you still singing to me like you used to?
