Destruction For a Wish

Destruction For a Wish

A Poem by Wynter Page
"

you never deserved the burden of granting wishes...

"

Oh little dandelion,

a plain jane flower.

How the world mistreats you.

We don't pick you in bouquets,

we don't cherish you in water,

no we destroy you.

We take our first chance

to love you,

and use it to blow you away.

Trade destruction for a wish

that never comes true.

Would you cry if you could?

Would you crush us in your pain?

You never deserved the burden

of granting dreams.

Still your death is so beautiful to me...
