Unbearable

Unbearable

A Poem by Wynter Page
"

About my home life in the past...

"

How in the world

did being under the same roof

become so unbearable?

How did we ever

lose track of how happy we

used to be?

How did it become so easy to forget

what a great day felt like?

Paused, frozen in time.

Running back through the same old lies.

Always yelling, always crying.

No wonder I've been dreaming of flying.

Since when did I always want to escape?

So many doors,

yet they can't shut out the noise.

Spineless threats from a shaking mouth.

Hollow walls that even the youngest

could blast right through.

Everyone's so worried about being right,

being heard,

that they forgot what the truth is really worth.

This piece is so gritty, honest and thought provoking. your words cut straight
through the nonsense and straight to the truth like a sword. It does not
try to cover things up or make excuses, instead it just uncovers the broken
heart and asks the question "why?"
A truly magnificent piece of work... You are truly a great writer.

Just puts the icing of the cake...with this measure...the language and tone prevails much of what is in this write...this is one those --- stop smell the roses...and regroup --- take a vacation and start anew...the same place can bear down --- or in a better word...fall apart...and not seem the same...as if the house is closing in on you...
