Renegade LoverA Poem by Wynter Pageyour kisses taste like cigarettes...Your dirtied hands with brown-lined caluses, they are so soothing to me.
Your torn-up leather vest that matches your long matted hair, squinted eyes that act so tough, but I see their softness.
Your kisses taste like your cigarettes. You hug me in your sweaty arms, and that's when I feel most calm, I feel secure.
The stubble of your cheeks stab me as I kiss you, it only makes me want to kiss you more. Your low growling voice in my ear vibrates through my spine.
You say so little but I hear so much more. Your silent confessions ride on your nicotine breath. You have way more passion than you're willing to admit.
I fell in love with all of you, and I won't try to get back up. I'll just lay here beside you and dream. © 2014 Wynter PageFeatured Review
