RedemptionA Poem by wild karmaJuly 2008 -- sometimes it takes a really really hard blow to the head with something made out of iron...Rising to my feet, blood pouring from my head
Blisters split and my feet swell
As always, I rebel and argue
In ignorance I cling to darkness
Lord, you laid out a banquet and lit the bonfire
Even in pain, bleeding and swollen
Lord, you pulled me up and showed me the path
For the first time in years, and many of them
Lord, you pulled me up and showed me the light
And I know that you have always seen me. © 2009 wild karma |
