can't sleep.
Every time she'll die.
Every time I try.
The screams
The pain
From these dreams.
He causes them.
It won't go away
I hold no sway
A prisoner in my head
Every time I lay down for bed.
I feel it consume me
Every day the more I see
The darkness that tries to swallow me
Every day is a struggle
Every day I want to cry
Want to cut and rip and tear
To just let myself die
But I cant.
She made me promise.
She is the one I miss
Pushed away to keep from harm
So now you are safe my arm.
I just wanted her to be okay
To live and be happy another day.
