Our wounds heal togetherA Poem by Willem DelFuegoThe idea of union, how two become one - like two palms cut open, two lovers holding hands. It's hard to describe, but if you held your palms together, they wounds would heal together eventyally.
I would die with no name
A man who remembers He loved you with whole My entire soul You ran for a while As did I dear While running our story Written on loose paper Blows in the wind I was buried here among The woods you wonder An adventurous heart You always possessed As you come closer you hear My heart beating tell-tale Under Willows skirt Listen, don't look Your eyes will never find the door which behind Is an man showing signs He regrets As the wind blows the papers like leaves in the fall I wait for you here always I can not keep my heart From beating for you Even in death As I blushed when you saw Me as beautiful to behold I blush now all over I am not in control Shaken I was and shattered Pain so deep it put me down I am humbled by your heart Taken down by riddles You are the one I never could solve I know now that your riddle Keeps your beauty forever A wonder to see I will wait in my tomb Don't look for a name Listen for the song The wonderful name Is in our song Makes us white like snow Sometimes frozen I shook To break you free I shook you too hard And it could not free I crushed and I shattered My sharp edges were sanded smooth As my heart sank into the sea Under the waves of our passion We often did not see But I recall and I wait Our story is more than this A tragedy of the nameless A man buried under a skirt Of a Willow tree in dreams Our river we floated on Down the peaceful drifts Our dreams together flow Until for a while apart dear Now I know you yearn to grow old in my arms My arms were so sharp As the face of bark My scars like ruts then So sharp sometimes I regret my words always Crash into me someday Our river is one and flowing together Someday we will meet And in the water embrace As you laugh and your smile Makes me shake There is no smile like yours Therefore even while buried My heart can't deny you Even if your branches have grown so tall and large I hope they do love In the sunlight In the rainbow Your are the one I am the man Only you have known Search through the night My beauty needs water So I give you our river Drink as much or as little You know the answer Take my branches and limbs I did over time Cutting my pride into planks Stained in dark Amber A house I built In a vision I hope to see In a vision for tomorrow Or today if it shows You happiness is what I need Not your tears but you smile You hair in curls trapping Tears into bottles No longer the sorrow Cut me down into boards Make my pride transform Into a red door That only your eyes see And I'm trapped inside Only you hold the key It's a pen made frommy finger I should have pointed at me Never at you Should have writtenon my heart Words that are true Take the pen it is the key Write your letter Sealed in wax and enter Remember tomorrow That is always were we are We live in a house built From the wood of Wisdom A sacrificed wisdom always so foolish Forgive my passion Forgive my imbalance Tell my your story At night when I shake The storm passed over in time And now our boats will collide And in the rain a kiss Seals your letter Upon my lips I will never forget Even in dreams of you To speak our love And sing our love At night if you ask To hear my heart I will sing it from the door Under Willows skirt If I am to stay there Buried and locked forever I know I loved you With all that I am Even the bad parts Because I am a simple man No monuments for me Just the truth I know Willow I might die And I long to hold you In my arms as we both go together Through the end of our story Unlocked with the key Written in our blood That made us one For eternity Heaven will answer Yes this I know is true But I can not live eternally Without my love so true You are the bride I long to hold In the winds of a King Who made us so bold -W- © 2016 Willem DelFuego |
