This is a beautiful poem that reminds me of someone I knew a few years ago. Beauty has such an amazing ability to affect the mind, and this poem is no exception. Excellent work, and I daresay the woman was lovely as well :)

Thank you so much. Someone said they were waiting for the rest. The last Island Girl works I was able to do a series, but I tried to do a follow up to this and so far nothing I like. Everything in it's time

The write is based on my muse who is not really an island girl but fits the image. But it is blended with a long life well lived also.

The way any good holiday romance begins, watching you watching her. Five lines convey perfectly the entire landscape held within this piece of framing it perfectly, yet the real story is yet to unfold.
