Be Heard

February 13th, 2016

It's expected that the level of

medication needed to maintain

the level of sanity found in writing.

Would be found to be cost prohibitive to sustain.

Going forward the prescription that

will be prescribed first,

will be for pen and paper

or any source at hand.

Find you voice, speak out,

sharing what is fun for you.

What drives you, your passion.

Then move on to the next project.

Be your own force,

Even if just a voice of one,

you were meant to be heard.

Writing is to some degree self prescribed therapy ( atleast for me), I guess that's why a lot of what I write turns out completely different in the end than what I visioned at the start. An excellent write my friend. It gives us perspective.

I think many of us write as you stated. I will have an idea, thought or phrase that comes to me, I start to write as soon as I can so as not to loose the flow. In the end, it may not have any element of my original intent and we kind of took a road trip together.

Then if I still have the original thought I may write it done for further review. But generally, it sits alone with no other words to carry it as intended.

Ahhhh, I agree wholeheartedly, a writer is driven to write, and all writers write to be read, to be heard ... If more people would turn to writing to vent their thoughts and frustrations, there would be less violence in the world ... While trees would become as priceless as diamonds with paper mills raking in the mulah in trying to fill the paper shortage ... Not a bad thing at all, I say ... Good write ...

Writing to me is similar to critical thinking which most fail to do. In writing all of your thoughts you put on paper. With critical thinking as I see it, you take the time to consider the results of differing scenarios, so as to make the right choose. Unfortunately in our world, thoughts seem to be lost until after the action takes place and failure is with us.

I am what you see on paper. People like and accept or they don't, I write for me. Do I want the approval, of course, I do. But I can only write what I feel and not someone else's vision.

A fine Piece Will, we all have our own reasons to write, some are simple while others are a bit
