Transition To Day

Morning Reflections

Waking as the sun starts, it's early morning rise

with shadows of darkness lingering

from clouds on high.

I see the morning light as it transitions today,

my thoughts are of you

which brings only light to my life.

Shadows and darkness no longer part of my life.

Holding you close,

Only sunshine in my days.
